If an individual or group with the same color or gender as me says or does something that is racially offensive I do not feel shame or guilt for my color or gender. All people are unique individuals with free will. Thus all people of the particular gender/or color will not necessarily agree with what a particular group or person says or does. If a group of like minded racist with the same color want to get together and promote racism they can. But the existence of a group of racist does not mean the rest of that color think that way. The same holds true for gender. If a group of like minded people of the same gender get together and say or do anything offensive I do not feel any amount of shame for being the same gender as they are.
As I mentioned above people are unique and have free will. Let us say offensive people of the same color or gender get together because they want to promote something offensive such as violence, racism, or vandalism. Do I necessarily agree with what they are doing because I am of the same gender or race as they are? Of course I do not. All white people do not think the same way. All black people do not think the same way. Sometimes individuals of a certain color may agree with people who are the same color; sometimes they will not.
A particular race or gender can be mislead in large numbers by misinformation. This can result in a high percentage of a particular race or gender believing the same idea. But the particular race or gender does not believe the same information because people of the same race or gender think alike. All people are individuals who can be lead to believe certain ideas whether they are true or not.
